Tokyo 20th & 21st Nov

Tokyo! Daddy brought Meg together with cousins Xavier, Titus and family to meet me in Tokyo. They took a night flight so lucky them got to fly via A380. Could tell Meg was excited. Thankfully she managed to catch a few winks onboard but apparently it was insufficient cos she started getting real cranky the next day when they arrived. We met up at the hotel, Sunshine City Prince at Ikebukoro, had Mac's for lunch then checked in and they all took some rest first. Later that night we went to take a stroll down beautiful Ginza. Taking the subway / metro was rather challenging, especially during peak hours!

Dunno wat was Meg pouting about on the bus from the airport to hotel.

This is the view from our hotel room. Wouldn't say the hotel was fantastic. It is old and service not really the Japanese standard. I will not wanna return there again.

This is the shopping centre located adjacent to our hotel. That's probably the only plus point of the hotel. Other than that, the nearest train stations were at least 3minutes walk, well, 5minutes with kids in tow.

We had dinner at a eatery in one of the buildings in Ginza. Our first meal of Ramen and well, there were many more Ramens to come for the next few days of our stay!

This is Meg getting cranky and clinging onto Daddy. She refused to put on her scarf, gloves and hat even though it was rather cold. Some days were below 10deg! She preferred to cling onto Daddy for warmth.

Oh, this Nissan car on display in the showroom..it was about 8pm and this lady was still on the rotating platform introducing the car. From afar, you would think this lady was a robot!
