Meg has started lessons at the new Pre-Nursery at PCF. All-green frog lookalike polo-tee and shorts. I took the morning off specially to bring her to school for fear that she will be afraid and wailing away. Geez, my worries were uncalled for. She did not cry, even bade me farewell and came home happily. Grandma told me she insisted on holding onto the 'communications book' as the teacher instructed her to give it to mummy. :) But her class starts at 8am, which means we all have to wake up earlier and leave our house by 7am in order to be in time.
Duncan's not well. Started with eye infection in the left eye on Friday night, it just came on suddenly. Brought him to the GP on Sat morning, administered eyedrops and thought it was better. Sunday the right eye was also infected. And Sunday night he developed fever and started coughing. Oh dear...so I brought him to the PD this morning. Prescribed antibiotics for a week coupled with the usual cough and running nose and paracetamol. It's the stronger antibiotics, Augmentin, but this is for kids so it smells so much better. How come Meg always got those horrid smelling antibiotics while Duncan gets the orange flavored ones?? He's asleep now, fever just down from 38deg.
Oh, got free tix to Ice Age 2 so brought Meg just now to 'test' if she can sit through a movie. This is her very first movie in a cinema. She was terribly excited and thankfully she sat through the show. Eh, its a *yawn* show to me, wouldn't watch it if not for Meg and the free tix.
