Went to Kiddy Palace at Compass Point today to buy a gift for baby Isaac's first month. Mummy saw a signage that says 'free toy basket with $50 Fisher Price purchase' so Mummy picked the FP Elmo Peek-a-boo Gym.
When paying, mummy was surprised that this toy doesn't come with the free gift! Here is what the sales girl replied to mummy's questions:
Mummy: "I thought got free gift?"
Sales girl: "Oh, only for FP items."
Mummy: " This is FP item ah..."
Sales girl: "Oh, only for FP baby items."
Mummy: (pointing to label on box that says birth+) "This IS for baby"
Sales girl: "Oh, only for FP with red logo"
Mummy: (pointed to logo on box which is red FP logo)
Sales girl: "Oh, only for those in the shelf under the signage."
Mummy: (in her own thoughts) *&$^%@%$*(%)
While leaving the store, the sales girl decided to give us the free gift saying that actually not entitled, but never mind. Mummy & Daddy refused the free gift.
It is NOT about the free gift, It's about the signage.......
